With a diameter of just 2 3/8", the TD22 is the smallest clutch available anywhere. Offering the lowest moment of inertia possible, these 2-cycle clutches are still capable of handing stall speeds up to 8,800 RPM. Engineered specifically to fit Yamaha KT100 applications and with their patented Thermal Dissipation (TD) Technology, these clutches can still stand up to harsh racing conditions. TD Technology ensures friction surfaces are isolated to friction discs and rotors, which only see compression loads. Thus, the pressure plate can’t warp because all of the clutch components are in compression. As a result, these clutches do not lose surface area and won’t fade at the end of the race. This also allows the dry clutch to endure unprecedented stall speeds.

Stellar 4 Clutches from Tomar™ provide kart racers with an unmatched opportunity for success. Available for a wide variety of karting applications and classes, the Stellar 4 Clutch includes a 4″ design, adjustable stall speed and lightweight steel drums for improved rigidity, reliability and longevity. The bell shaped drum design of the Stellar 4 allows for increased chain clearance, while the friction disc configuration provides better lock-up and less heat build-up. Meanwhile, a .160″ pressure plate provides more rigidity and better heat dissipation, while machined levers have a wide variety of weight applications. Springs are matched to within 1 lb. to ensure consistency. Finally, CNC-machined sprocket teeth reduce runout and are secured by a snap ring, which is rated at 16,000 RPM. Stellar 4 Clutches are available in 1-, 2-, 3- or 4-disc configurations to match virtually any application.
